WwR MTK (MediaTek ROM Dump & Scatter Splitter Tool) v2.51 (Eng)

About WwR MTK

WwR MTK, created by prominent developer wè·wè·r from the 4PDA tech community, is an essential utility for technicians and engineers working with MediaTek (MTK) device firmware. When backing up an MTK smartphone via SP Flash Tool Readback mode, the output is generated as a single, contiguous raw binary file (typically named ROM_0). WwR MTK automatically parses this dump, identifies hardware partition structures (GPT/MBR), generates a 100% compliant scatter.txt map, and splits the monolithic binary into individual image files (boot.img, recovery.img, system.img, etc.) ready for SP Flash Tool deployment.

Key Features

• Automatic Scatter Generation: Scans the partition table directly from raw memory dumps and generates fully compatible Android Scatter files without manual address calculations.
• Dump Splitting (Cut ROM): Automatically extracts all individual partitions from monolithic ROM_0 dump files into clean, flashable image components.
• Broad MTK Processor Compatibility: Supports legacy 32-bit SoCs (MT6572, MT6580, MT6582) as well as modern 64-bit architectures (MT6735, MT6737, MT6739, MT6750, MT6761, MT6765, MT6768, MT6785, and beyond).
• SP Flash Tool Readback Profiling: Calculates start addresses and block lengths to generate automated readback lists for custom dumping workflows.
• English Interface: Full English localization with drag-and-drop file loading support.
• Portable & Lightweight: Standalone Windows utility requiring zero installation overhead; runs seamlessly on Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11.

Standard Workflow Guide

1. Create a memory dump of your target MediaTek device using SP Flash Tool Readback to produce a raw binary (e.g., ROM_0).
2. Extract and launch WwR MTK (WwR.exe) with Administrator privileges.
3. Under the Auto Mode tab, click Select File and choose the ROM_0 binary.
4. The software analyzes the internal GPT/MBR partition tables and highlights detected partitions.
5. Click Create Scatter File to generate the corresponding scatter.txt.
6. Proceed to execute Cut ROM / Split ROM to dump individual partition images into your target export folder.
7. Once completed, you possess a complete, flashable stock ROM package ready for immediate use with SP Flash Tool.

Important Technical Notes

• Ensure the host hard drive has available storage space at least twice the size of the original ROM_0 image.
• Avoid modifying scatter address values unless you are experienced with low-level eMMC/UFS memory boundary structures.
