Ensure your device is the DOOV R17 Pro (MT6761 chipset, mx2998f / R700 board) and not the standard DOOV R17 (MT6765 chipset on L283_R777 board) to prevent hardware mismatch. Always choose Download Only mode in SP Flash Tool and never select Format All + Download to safeguard your device NVRAM calibration and factory IMEI identifiers.
Flashing Guide via SP Flash Tool
- Download the DOOV R17 Pro firmware archive from LinkSave.net and extract it on your computer.
- Ensure MediaTek MTK VCOM USB drivers are properly installed on your Windows PC.
- Open SP Flash Tool, click choose at Scatter-loading File, and select
MT6761_Android_scatter.txt. - Verify that the download mode is configured to Download Only, then click the green Download button.
- Power off your DOOV R17 Pro completely, hold the Volume Down button (or hardware boot key), and plug in the USB cable to the PC.
- Wait until the green checkmark circle (Download OK) appears. Disconnect the USB cable and power the phone back on.
